Biography

George Barrows was a prolific American character actor and stuntman who became one of Hollywood’s most sought-after "gorilla performers". While he played hundreds of small, often uncredited human roles, he is best remembered for appearing in more than 100 films and television episodes while wearing a custom-made gorilla suit
