Kia Asamiya (麻宮騎亜, Asamiya Kia, born March 9, 1963) is a Japanese manga artist and animator from Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture. His real name and the name he uses when working in anime is Michitaka Kikuchi (菊池通隆, Kikuchi Michitaka), while Kia Asamiya is the alias he uses for his manga publications.
